So I have decided to start a series here called....
Yup you guessed it, Edit of the Week. Each week I'll share some of my ongoing favorites.
I'm going to keep these short and sweet for the most part. From clothing and home decor, favorite books and podcast, and answers to DMs - expect it all.
All things are linked through their title.
Alrighty, let's get started.
amazon Platform Sandals ( Only $20 !!!! )
Okay, I'm obsessed. When my best friend texted me pictures of the new, inexpensive, sandals she got I had to go order some immediately. These are sold in silver, black, cognac, and white. They are SO comfy and have held up so far. The sizing is pretty spot on too! These are a great new addition for your summer go-to wardrobe.
OpalHouse Temporary Wallpaper
Yes, yes, and more yes. Anyone else getting major Anthropologie vibes here? I saw these in store a week ago and grabbed three tubes to sneak in the cart so Clark wouldn't see. Unfortunately, they got booted by him...BUT I saw some put up as a back splash in a small apartment recently and fell in love all over again. They have different prints and colors to browse through. It's temporary which is great for apartment living but would also be a nice touch in a half bath if you need to ease your way into the prints and colors.
Candy Apple Boutique
I've posted about this boutique on Insta before, but it I can't get enough. Whoever does their buying is killin' the game. PLUS - the clothes, jewels, hats, bags, & honestly everything, is actually affordable. They are located in Alabama, but you can buy online through Instagram. Kind of a weird/foreign process of ordering, not going to lie. BUT it's worth it.
Coconut Milk Yogurt
Recently, I decided to start cutting out a lot of the dairy I was consuming. This has replaced some breakfasts for me and I do not miss my old Greek yogurt in the slightest of bit. I have tried a couple brands of yogurt alternatives too...the So Delicious brand wins thus far. The strawberry-banana, vanilla, and peach are my favorites! Give it a try with some ground flax seed & fruit in the morning and I promise you wont feel as heavy or have any upset stomach.
Follow Laura Browning Grant (@laurabpilates)
What. A. Warrior. Go read her story here and you will agree. Her husband, who is a Navy SEAL, was in a horrific car accident and suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. She inspires me to enjoy life always, trust in the Lord, and keep hope through every post. Also, she's a glowing picture of "in sickness and in health" for marriage; she loves her husband something fierce. Give her a follow and look through her posts for updates and see what I'm talking about!
Red Sparrow
If you weren't a fan of Jennifer Lawrence yet, you will be after watching this. It came out a little while ago and I wasn't interested in watching it. (Plus, let's be honest...I'm not making enough to go to the theaters with the prices these days lol) BUT the other night Clark and I borrowed it from a friend and it is SO good. It kept my attention the whole time, and I usually am that friend who falls asleep before the movie even begins. Go watch.
